Donald Trump sure knows how to throw a fun party -- candy, costumes and insults included.
On Friday, the children of the White House Press Corps were invited to join their parents at work and celebrate Halloween at the White House.
And, as expected, things got really awkward, really fast.

"I cannot believe the media produced such beautiful children," Trump said upon seeing the tiny humans pile in to his office, parents (and cameras) in tow.
After that back-handed compliment, things got even more cringe-worthy.

As the kids squeezed around the desk for a festive photo, Trump asked them "are you going to grow up to be like your parents?" He said he didn't want an answer because it can "only get [him] in trouble."
Just when it looked like he was going to restrain himself, take a fun photo, wish the kids a "Happy Halloween," and go back to his presidential duties, Trump did what he does best -- he dug himself further into a hole of awkwardness.
As he gave the kids boxes of Hershey Kisses, he told one young person, "you have no weight problems. That's the good news. Right?"
"So how does the press treat you? I bet you get treated better by the press than anybody in the world," Trump then asked a pair of witches.
He didn't get much right, but Trump sure nailed the creepy part of the Halloween celebration.
