Update:Google has officially revealed its new Pixel phones.
No matter how much gets leaked about a phone, at least the manufacturer can surprise people with the order pages.
But Google's Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, the most leaked devices in the history of mankind, have transcended this final barrier: They're both up for pre-order at B&H, several hours before their official unveiling. There's a trick, though: You can't actually check out with the devices yet, as B&H is currently closed for the Succos holiday. Checkout will be available at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday night, a notice on the website says.
These pre-order pages, which are still up at writing time (probably because Google just doesn't care anymore), contain every last detail about the devices' specs, but we already know all of them. One last bit of info that we were unsure of was the pricing, but now we have that, too. Without further ado:
Google Pixel 4 with 64GB of RAM: $799
Google Pixel 4 with 128GB of RAM: $899
Google Pixel 4 XL with 64GB of RAM: $899
Google Pixel 4 XL with 128GB of RAM: $999
We also have shipping times for all of the new Pixels, which are Oct. 22.
About those prices: At first glance they're not horrible, with the cheapest Pixel starting at a reasonable $799. The fact that both the Pixel 4 and 4 XL start at a meager 64GB, however, makes the deal a lot less attractive.
We've got a bit of bad news about the colors, too (via Android Police): While the "Clearly White" and "Just Black" colors are available for the 64GB and the 128GB variants of both Pixels, you can only get the "Oh So Orange" color with the 64GB versions of both phones.
Today's Made by Google 2019 event starts at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 14. You can follow it live here.
