In his latest campaign gaffe, Joe Biden's campaign team forgot to scoop up the social media handles and web domain associated with a new campaign outreach effort. Now, Team Trump owns them.
As Gizmodo reports, Team Biden unveiled its Latinx outreach campaign — "Todos Con Biden" (which translates to "Everyone With Biden") — on Tuesday. Problem is, they forgot to grab all the digital assets associated with that slogan before it went public.
So, in a digitally savvy move, Trump's campaign snatched them up instead, grabbing the Todos Con Biden URL as well as the Facebook and Twitter pages, and leveraging them as anti-Biden accounts.

If you're part of Team Biden, that's not great! Especially as Team Trump has literally flooded the web with campaign ads as Biden's fundraising numbers are slumping.
Hoarding websites has been a thing that Trump and his company have done quite well in the past, even as they've had plenty of internet-related stumbles of their own.
But this was so easy for Team Biden to do! Even if they did nothing with any of those accounts, just nabbing them is common sense and costs basically nothing: the social media accounts are literally free and the cost of a web domain is minuscule in the context of a presidential campaign.

For instance, both JoeBidenIsGreat.com and JoeBidenIsDumb.com will cost you $12 each through Google, as will DonaldTrumpRacist.com. See? It's not hard! Hell, TodosConBiden.net and TodosConBiden.org are still available as of this writing for that price, too!

Meanwhile, a Biden rep told ABC, "It is no surprise that Trump's Campaign would resort to childish antics like this to take attention away from this President's appalling record of separating families and using immigrants as scapegoats, fomenting hatred and white supremacy, and trying to take away health care from millions of Americans who need it."
Say what you will about Biden as a candidate, but when a Midwestern spice company is more effective at digital political campaigns, you're probably in trouble.
