It's time, folks: Apple Store is down in anticipation of a new iPhone.
This time, we know we're getting somethingtoday, as Apple CEO Tim Cook took the rare step to tease the launch beforehand.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
"Get ready to meet the newest member of the family," he tweeted last week.
That newest member is likely an affordable iPhone, though we're not sure about the name. Up until a few days ago, everyone thought it was going to be the new iPhone SE, but recent rumors say that it'll be called the iPhone 16E, potentially placing it at lot closer to the top of Apple's lineup.
SEE ALSO: Apple Maps may get paid placements as part of new ad strategyIn any case, now that Apple Store is down, the launch is imminent, so we'll see what Apple's got cooking in a couple of hours.
