No doubt anxious to advertise Apple's new AirPods, Tim Cook has chosen to participate in his own meme cycle.
On Tuesday, the Apple CEO tweeted a photo of himself writing "hello" on an iPad, which spawned a bunch of shoddily Photoshopped memes. On Wednesday, Mr. Apple brought the whole thing home (and killed the joke) with an AirPods version. The tweet went up shortly before Apple announced the new headphones model.

Sadly, people who spend a non-troubling amount of time on the internet and did not see the first version of the meme are now riffing on Cook's new tweet in the replies. Despite being only OK, the meme will probably endure for the rest of Wednesday.
Tim, please do not tweet it again.
