Sure, you could replace your old iPad with a new one. But what if you got an Android tablet for free instead?
That's a deal Google is currently running on its U.S. online marketplace, anyway, as spotted by Android Police. Google will give you a Pixel Tablet (first released in 2023) for free if you trade in an iPad — and it can be as old as 2018's sixth-gen iPad.

The only problem with this whole arrangement is that Google stopped including the Pixel Tablet's signature speaker dock with the tablet as part of the price drop. You can buy it separately for $129.
So, in other words, be warned that trading in your old iPad for a Pixel Tablet means you won't get the whole Pixel Tablet experience. The speaker dock turns the tablet into a little desktop TV, which I felt gave the device a unique identity that other tablets don't necessarily have out of the box. Without it, it's just another Android tablet.
Still, free is free.
