In early 2019, Apple will release higher end AirPods and "studio quality" over-ear headphones. Bloomberg first reported the the plans, based on conversations with anonymous sources.

They'll be water resistant (to rain and sweat -- not full submersion), noise cancellation, and they'll have increased range from iPhones and iPads. A wireless charging case is apparently in the works, too, to go along with the long-rumored and conspicuously absent AirPower charger.
They'll cost more than the exist $159 AirPods, giving consumers a baseline and higher end model — similar to the iPhone.
The over-ear headphones will reportedly have higher sound quality than Apple's Beats line. However, production hasn't started, and design and technology partnerships for the product haven't been finalized.
